Chamber does not endorse any candidates for office

It has come to our attention there is a political ad being distributed showing candidates posing in front of a Howell Township/Howell Chamber of Commerce welcome sign. By viewing this ad, it may be construed that the Howell Chamber of Commerce endorsed those particular candidates. This is not the case.

We have never endorsed any candidate, nor (do we) plan to ever do so. The Howell Chamber of Commerce is an apolitical organization. In its normal course of business, our chamber must work closely with our elected officials. In order to maintain our effectiveness, we distance ourselves from the election process.

We wish all the candidates well and look forward to working with the victor.
