Cassville post office is going the extra mile to protect citizens

I would like to commend the Cassville post office in Jackson for a job well done in protecting our nation.

I recently went to this post office to mail some packages for my mom and of course I had to show identification (a driver’s license), which is OK with me.

The return addresses on the packages are my mom’s post office box number which is different from my address. The gentlemen behind the counter at the post office checked my identification and noticed that the return address was different from my address so he asked me to put my address on the packages also as a return address.

I was very happy when I walked out of the post office because I felt that they took the time to check and make sure everything was correct. It made me feel secure at that very moment in a very insecure world right now.

I would like to thank the gentleman behind the counter at the Cassville post office and thank the United States Postal Service for taking the time to protect us in this current crisis.

      Robin Miller
