Donations sought by Suited for Success The "Suited for Success" boutique is a welfare-to-work program sponsored by the Lakewood Board of Education and administered by the Lakewood Community School. The boutique provides a retail-like environment where women without appropriate workplace clothing can find apparel. In addition, women without skills can be trained in retail. The Boutique is in the Princeton Avenue Administration Building at 655 Princeton Ave. and is presently accepting donations of gently used women’s clothing and accessories. Lakewood hospice service seeks volunteers Caring Hospice Service provides care to terminally ill patients and their families in Ocean and Monmouth counties. Volunteer opportunities are now available for individuals or groups who would like to devote time helping others by providing companionship and friendly visitation, forget-me-not projects or administrative support services. Volunteers who are interested in patient contact will receive free hospice training and certificate upon completion.
