Rabies clinic Saturday The Monmouth County Health Department will be sponsoring a free rabies vaccination clinic for cats and dogs March 22, 9 a.m. to noon at the Public Works Building on Old Tavern Road in Howell. All New Jersey residents may participate. Pet owners are encouraged to bring their cats as well as their dogs to the clinic. All pets vaccinated at the clinic must receive a rabies booster shot either in one or three years, as stated on the certificate. For all pets due in three years for a rabies booster, the state Department of Health recommends that owners return in two years to receive their rabies booster shot. For more information call the health department at (732) 431-7456. |
