Obituaries JEANNE DAURIO, 71, of Marlboro, died March 24 at CentraState Medical Center, Freehold Township. Born in Brooklyn, N.Y., she lived there until moving to Marlboro 15 years ago. She is survived by her husband, Anthony; her mother, Jean Lombardi of Staten Island, N.Y.; three daughters and sons-in-law, Lorraine and Rick Frascati of Freehold, Ann and Mark Sciaraffo of Freehold, and Joanne and Domenick Calise of Jackson; two sisters, Margie DiPippo of Westport, Conn., and Annette Tomaselli of Staten Island, N.Y.; and six grandchildren. A funeral liturgy was celebrated at St. Gabriel’s Church, Marlboro, followed by entombment at St. Gabriel’s Mausoleum. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Lung Association, 1600 Route 22 East, Union 07083. MARY BROWN PARRISH, 74, of Lake-wood, died March 24 at home. She was a graduate of Grant High School, Middleburg, Va. She was a respite caregiver. She was a member of Wells Chapel A.M.E. Church, South Toms River, where she was a member of the Steward Board and the Missionary Board. Prior to that, she was a member of the Bethel A.M.E. Church, Lakewood. Surviving are her husband, Joe Cephus Parrish; a stepson, William Joe Parrish of Manchester Township; a son, Maurice B. Parrish of Lakewood; three daughters, Mimi Burgess and Amy P. Terhune, both of Queens, N.Y., and Sandra Stevens of Worchester, Mass.; 13 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; an aunt and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services were held at Wells Chapel A.M.E. Church, South Toms River, followed by interment at Ocean County Memorial Park, Toms River. MARGARET M. PEDERSEN, 84, of Jack-son, died March 24 at Jackson Health Care. She was born in Lakewood and moved to Jackson in 1968. She was a dance instructor at the YMCA and also worked as a home health aide. She was active in senior activities with the Oaktree Mobile Home Park and with the American Legion Auxiliary Post 0166 in Lakewood. She was a member of Siloam United Methodist Church, Jackson. She was predeceased by her first husband, Stanley Witkowski, and her second husband, Edward Pedersen; her brothers, John, Bernard and William Meyer; and her two sisters, Ann and Ruth. She is survived by two stepsons, Donald Witkowski of Englishtown, and Alfred Pedersen of St. Mary’s, Kan.; three stepdaughters, Diane Pedersen of West Windsor, Lois Raimondo of Jackson, and Penny Kaye of Fort Myers, Fla.; 16 grandchildren, one great grandchild and many nieces and nephews. Interment was in Woodlawn Cemetery, Lakewood. ESTHER KEYNTON SEVRET, 52, of Hazlet died March 30 at Bayshore Community Hospital, Holmdel. Born in Neptune, she resided in South Belmar and Manasquan before moving to Hazlet 33 years ago. Mrs. Sevret was a registered nurse at Jersey Shore Medical Center, Neptune. She also was a private duty nurse at We Care, Oakhurst section of Ocean Township; Brentwood Nursing Home, Middle-town; and Union Beach Board of Education, for 31 years. She was a communicant of Holy Family Roman Catholic Church, Union Beach. She was a member of Brunswick League, Hazlet. Mrs. Sevret is survived by her husband, Robert Sevret of Hazlet; two sons, Robert Sevret Jr. of Elizabethtown, Pa., and James Sevret of Hazlet; her daughter, Renee Sevret of Hazlet; three brothers, Martin Keynton and John Keynton, both of Wall Township, and Percy Keynton of Tinton Falls; three sisters, Rosemary Hughes of Neptune City, Ann Mary Lake of Jackson, and Therese Loftus of Bricktown; four grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial was offered at Holy Family Roman Catholic Church, Union Beach, followed by entombment at Holmdel Mausoleum. FRANK E. SZABO, 69, of East Brunswick, formerly of South River, died March 20 in St. Peter’s University Hospital, New Brunswick. Prior to his retirement in 2001, he was employed by the Borough of South River for 30 years, retiring as a supervisor with the borough Sanitation Department. His first wife, Mary Ann Nemeth Szabo, died in 1991, and a son, Frank T. Szabo, died in 2000. Surviving are his wife, Eunice Hill Szabo; two sons, Todd of Easton, Pa., and Joseph of Howell; a brother, Louis Szabo of Tannersville, Pa.; and five grandchildren. A service was held at First Reformed Church of South River. |
