      Travel, photography subjects of OCC classes

      From exotic lands to local landmarks, Ocean County College will offer several courses with a travel theme in April, as well as a class in photography.

      "Cuba Lecture/Dinner" will be offered April 25, 6-9 p.m. The $36 fee includes dinner. Register by April 17.

      "Egyptian Collection," a bus trip to the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City, is scheduled for April 26, 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Cost is $65. Register by April 17.

      "The Acropolis of Athens" will be the subject of a mini-seminar May 1, 6:30-9 p.m. Cost is $34. Register by April 23.

      "West Side Story" will include a walking tour of New York City on May 3, 8:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. Cost is $65. Register by April 24.

      For photography buffs, the college will offer "Photography: How Your LDS Camera Works." Section one is April 21 to May 12; section 2 is April 30 to May 21, 6-9 p.m. Cost is $101 per section, and classes will be held at OCC Southern Education Center in Manahawkin. Register by April 11 for Section 1, by April 22 for Section 2.
