Candidate will bring dedication to Jackson school board

On April 15 the residents of Jackson will be asked to go to the polls and elect three new members to the Board of Education. There is one person running this year that I believe can truly make a difference. Her name is Linda Lackay and she is running for a one-year unexpired term.

I have known and worked closely with Linda for many years. She has been an intregal part of the Rosenauer PTA, whether as a committee chairperson [of numerous committees] or as one of our elected officers. Succeeding her as president of the PTA this year was both terrifying [no way I could fill her shoes] and reassuring [she had everything organized – beautifully outlining the year ahead and making the transition smooth]. I believe she will bring the same level of determination and dedication to the board.

Linda is not out to make a name for herself among Jackson politicians. Linda is there to be a voice for the children and parents of Jackson. I am proud to call her my candidate, even prouder to call her my friend.
