The following are the results of the Westlake Ladies Golf Association’s Aug. 21 outing. The game played was Best Two Balls of Four. In the 18-hole competition, the team of Dolores Paccione, Saralee Surett, Flo Ildsgaard and Cookie Frankel took first with a score of 116, followed by Linda Burnett, Pat Borton, Kathy Curtis and Marge Medici (121), and Pat Hanlon, Mary Hane Derosa, Pat Hannish and Nancy Powderly (124).

In the nine-hole competition, the team of Nancy Mole, Sandy Kwiecinski and Ruth Krisman took first with a score of 62, followed by Ginger Costello, Alba Ramos, Lucy Rausch and Joyce Kazan (66), and Joyce Cuthbert, Mindy Wasserman, Babara Bilenker and Miriam Applebaum (66).

The following are the results of the Nick "the Quick" Werkman All-American Action Clinic’s Aug. 10 competitions. Grant Grossman won the hotshot competition with 37 points, followed by Mike Specht (36), Nick Specht (28), David Furbish (24) and Zachary Taylor (22). Grossman also won the foul-shooting contest, going 10-for-10, followed by Nick Specht (9-10), Mike Specht (8-10), Taylor (7-10) and Furbish (6-10). Grossman was the clinic MVP.
