Voters thanked for support of school budget

On behalf of the students, Board of Education, staff and parents involved in the New Egypt schools, I would like to express our gratitude for the approval of the Plumsted Township School District budget for the 2004-05 school year.

With our increasing enrollment we are challenged to continue the tradition of providing a high quality education, while still being responsive to the local taxpayers regarding costs.

The Plumsted Township schools continue to offer competitive academic programs enriched by curricular activities and sports.

Our focus will remain on preparing students to be successful students and productive citizens. Your support of the 2004-05 budget ensures that these goals will be met.

Special thank yous are extended to the Plumsted Township PTOs, to the many phone volunteers and the "Yes for Success Committee" headed by Janet Hauge who provided leadership and motivation.

Again, on behalf of the entire school district and the children who will reap the benefit of the budget passage, thank you for your support.
