Student-athletes honored at Rowan University Student-athletes honored Rowan University, Glassboro, recently honored approximately 150 individuals at Student-Athlete Day by recognizing those student-athletes whose grade point average (GPA) is between 3.0 and 3.9. The school’s athletes compete in various sports among 18 different teams in the NCAA Division III. Among the local scholar-athletes with a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 are: Sarah Neuman of Jackson, cross country and track and field, a senior majoring in elementary education. Among the local scholar-athletes with a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.4 are: Casey Bartolf of Jackson, softball, a sophomore majoring in health and exercise science; Scott Blum of Howell, football, a junior majoring in economics; Monica Chin of Jackson, lacrosse, a senior majoring in elementary education/psychology; Jessica Prince of Jackson, lacrosse, a sophomore majoring in chemical engineering; and William Stewart of Jackson, swimming and diving, a sophomore majoring in communications. |
