Howell library offers free summer programs
The following programs will be offered for free at the Howell Branch of the Monmouth County Library, 318 Old Tavern Road: • July 10, 10 a.m. — the Disney movie "Toy Story" will be shown; • July 14, 6:45-8:45 p.m. — experts Chuck and Debbie Robinson will talk about their book, "The Art of Shelling," and present a slide show about sea shells from Maine to Florida; • July 15, 12:30-6:30 p.m. — Monopoly tournament for kids in grades 5-12, pizza and refreshments will be served, registration is required for this event and the last day to register is June 28; • July 17, 10 a.m. — the movie "Adventures of Jimmy Neutron: Boy Genius Jet Fusion" will be shown; • July 28, 3-4 p.m. — Beacon Bicycle Shop, Howell, will bring in different types of bicycles and discuss their usage, as well as BMX bike riding; • July 6, 13, 20, and 27, 2-4 p.m., — "Reading to the Therapy Dogs," children registered in the Howell summer reading program are invited to read a book of their choice to trained therapy dogs, registration is required; • July 31, 10 a.m., — the movie "Harriet the Spy" will be shown.
