Jackson woman to serve as grand marshal JACKSON — Nina Anuario of Jackson has been chosen to serve as the grand marshal for this year’s Ocean County Columbus Day parade, which is scheduled for Oct. 10. Anuario is a vice president at OceanFirst Bank. She serves on the board of directors as treasurer for the Friends of Navy Lakehurst and is an active member of the advisory board for the Jersey Shore Council of the Boy Scouts of America. She has served on the board of Ocean County Foundation for Vocational Educa-tion for a number of years. Anuario is also a past president of the Ocean County Bankers Association and the Toms River Ocean County Chamber of Commerce. She continues to serve on the chamber’s board of directors and is co-chair of the annual golf committee and chairs the budget committee. She also chairs the Ocean County College Foundation golf committee. She is a past director for ADACO (Alcoholism and Drug Abuse Council of Ocean Inc.), vice chairwoman of PIC (Private Industry Council) of Ocean County and the Work-force Investment Board and president of the board for Ocean County Vocational Technical School. Anuario’s selection as grand marshal was celebrated at the annual grand marshal dinner dance held June 18 at the Crystal Point Yacht Club, Point Pleasant.
