An attorney representing Lakewood in the matter of a fine assessed against the township clerk by the state Government Records Council has revised the figure he initially provided to the Tri-Town News. Guy Ryan said the correct amount of legal work on the clerk’s behalf was $7,925, and not $8,366 as initially reported. Ryan said work performed in 2003 was billed at $150 per hour and work performed in 2004 was billed at $160 per hour.
