Agent honored for work with Rotary

Virginia Khoudary of Jackson, an exclusive agent with Allstate New Jersey Insurance Company, was awarded the Agency Hands in the Community Award for her commitment to volunteering in the community through the Jackson Rotary Club.

With this award comes a $500 grant from the Allstate Foundation for the civic organization, a Rotary chapter that has been very active in the Jackson community.

Recently, Khoudary worked with the Jackson Rotary Club to provide supplementary supplies to American troops serving in Iraq via the group’s “Operation Hands Overseas” initiative. Khoudary was awarded the honor for her tireless efforts with the group.

John Noto, a market business consultant with Allstate New Jersey, nominated Khoudary.

“Over the years, Virginia has shown a great deal of community involvement and commitment,” Noto said. “She has an unwavering dedication to strengthen the Jackson community through her volunteer work with the Rotary Club.”

Richard C. Crist Jr., president of Allstate New Jersey, said, “Allstate New Jersey believes it is very important for corporations to take an active interest in the communities they serve. We are proud to support Virginia Khoudary in such a worthwhile cause through the Allstate Foundation. The grant from the Allstate Foundation will provide much needed support for the Rotary Club’s work.”

Established in 1952, the Allstate Foundation is an independent corporation funded by contributions from the Allstate Insurance Company. Grants are awarded to nonprofit organizations that seek to improve the quality of life in communities across the country.
