Registration in progress for teen expedition program

  • Howell is accepting registration for its Teen Expedition program now through May 6 at the Howell recreation building, 251 Preventorium Road. The program will begin July 6. The fee to participate is $25 per child, plus the cost of trips and a $3 nonrefundable transportation fee. Students who attend must be Howell residents going into grades seven to 12.   • Howell rec will host ‘Mother-Daughter Tea Party’

    A “Mother-Daughter Tea Party, “ sponsored by the Howell Recreation Department, will be held June 25 at Our House restaurant, Howell. Attendees can choose to go from noon to 3 p.m. or from 5-8 p.m. The event will consist of a buffet lunch or dinner, an assortment of desserts, tea time, the making of a memorable craft and music for dancing.     CentraState babysitting course to be held in Howell

    The Howell Recreation Department is hosting a CentraState babysitting course on May 14 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The cost to participate is $30. Participants will receive a certificate upon completion of the course. Reservations are required and attendees must bring their own baby doll, receiving blanket, bottle, diaper and brown bag lunch.
