Ramtown Elementary School fourth-grader Brad Currao was recently received the Scholar-Athlete Award.

Currao was nominated for the award by his teacher Mrs. Italiano. Currao was invited to a Trenton Thunder game, where he received a certificate and threw out the honorary first pitch before the Thunder took on the Norwich Navigators. Currao is a straight-A student and has earned high honors at Ramtown Elementary. In addition to baseball, Currao participates in roller hockey and basketball.
