The following are the results of the Westlake Ladies Golf Association’s May 12 outing — One Best Ball of Foursome. In the 18-hole competition, Kit Davis, Pat Hanlon, Paula Barth and Barbara Bell took first with a 52, followed by Mei Chou, Leslie Barenberg and Maryanne Cazzetta with a 54, and Tomo Kiajima, Helene Franco, Sylvia Walter and Marge Croce, also with a 54.

In the nine-hole competition, Alba Ramos, Gail Kornfeld, Nancy Maas and Nancy Alecci took first with a 27, followed by Gloria Harbour, Carol Sabine, Barbara Tafro and Caroly Osnato, also with a 27, and Gail Williams, Angie Yasson and Toby Lazan with a 28.

The New Egypt Soccer Club is holding tryouts for the fall season on June 9, 14 and 16 from 6:30-8 p.m. at the elementary school fields. The club will be participating in the MOSA soccer league. In addition, they will be holding tryouts for a U7 and a U9 girl’s team. The U7 team will compete in the Ocean County Rec League.

The following are the results of the Westlake Men’s Association May 11 event. In the A Flight, John Lukasik and Michael Mohr took first with a score of 63.5, followed by Bob Therese and Ron Larkin (64). In the B Flight Ed Sacerdote and Barry Surrett took first with a 62.5, folowed by Bob

Kwiecinski and Tom Gaven (63.5). In the C Flight, Larry Sposi and Roger VanHise took first with a (60). followed by Frank Jacene and Ken Ferguson (60.5). In the D Flight, Jim Allen and Robert DeFeo took first with a 54.5, folowed by Bob Smith and Anthony Dimasi (56).
