Six Flags Great Adventure offers a variety of job opportunities and programs for students. Promotion opportunities, paid internships, student loan assistance, scholarships and college planning coupled with 3,800 employment opportunities prepare individuals for career advancement.
A wide variety of positions are offered to candidates interested in pursuing careers in occupations such as marketing, accounting, criminal justice, theater arts (dancers, singers, variety acts and costume characters), human resources, games, food service, rides, x-treme attractions, stadium and street vending, hospitality and business management, horticulture and zoology. Flexible hours are available for high school and college students.
A college internship program is also available to 200 college students. During the 10-24-week paid internship program, interns gain experience in their field of study. Six Flags employees are also eligible for student loan assistance and company-offered scholarships. Applications are continually accepted depending on the desired semester work.

Philip Zorzi of Howell, an exclusive agent with Allstate New Jersey Insurance Co. (Allstate New Jersey), has been recognized by Allstate Insurance Co. for high standards in customer satisfaction, customer retention and financial service sales. Because of these accomplishments, Zorzi has achieved the distinctive Allstate Honor Ring award, Allstate's symbol of outstanding achievement given to employees for nearly 60 years. Jodilynn Mlotkiewicz, a Jackson resident, has advanced to area coordinator as an independent distributor for Market America, a product brokerage and Internet marketing company. The company's business model is based on providing high-quality, market-driven products that are distributed directly to each customer via one-to-one marketing.
Mlotkiewicz became eligible for the coordinator level after developing two sales and distribution organizations, in addition to selling an established amount of product, which produced a first commission check.
Previously qualified as a distributor, Mlotkiewicz has been an independent distributor for Market America since January 2005.
OceanFirst Bank will be participating in the March of Dimes WalkAmerica, a fundraising walk-a-thon, April 30. As part of its fundraising efforts, OceanFirst Bank is currently accepting donations of old cell phones at local branches. Collec-tion boxes are set up at each of its 18 branches in Ocean, Monmouth and Mid-dlesex counties. Each phone will yield a donation of $1.75. The cell phone collection will end April 15.
In addition to collecting the phones, OceanFirst Bank employees will be walking in the March of Dimes WalkAmerica.
The March of Dimes is dedicated to improving the health of infants by preventing birth defects, premature birth and infant mortality. According to the March of Dimes, premature birth is the leading cause of newborn death. WalkAmerica was put into effect nationwide to bring attention to this alarming statistic.
