The Orange Orangutans won their final game of the season to clinch first place in the senior division of the Jackson Recreation Softball League. Team 26 won the first time the two teams played, and the Orangutans won the second time. The third game, Team 26 came out swinging and scored three runs in the top of the first inning. The Orangutans answered with two runs before Brittany Olejarz was tagged out and inured while sliding into home. The Orangutans were now playing with only eight players until Samantha Bickerton removed a splint from her arm and put herself into the game. The remaining innings were played as tough as the first. The pitchers for both teams were outstanding (Brittany Prell for the Orangutans and Jessica Rable for Team 26), as were the catchers (Brittany Bickerton and Amanda Isackson).
