The Jackson Ice Hockey Club has re-elected board officers for the 2006-07 year. Officers of the club are Pat King as president, Diane Stanaway as vice president, Lucy King as treasurer, Rob Guimaraes as corresponding secretary, Howie Kleinman as marketing director and Trish Guimaraes as fundraising chairwoman.

The team will play home games at Wall Sports Arena on Thursdays at 8:30 p.m. The community is invited to attend the games and cheer on the boys toward their goal of a successful first season. Check the high school calendar for the game schedule.

The JIHC would like to thank the community for its support of its Gift Auction and Golf Outing held in August at the Hanover Country Club.

Jackson Ice Hockey Club is looking for additional players to play high school hockey. Students currently in the eighth grade at Goetz Middle School are invited to join the club by contacting the club at jacksonicehockey@aol.com. Students attending Jackson Liberty High School are also invited to contact the club for information.
