Allegro!, a 32-member chorus of men and women, is seeking male singers for "The Many Moods of Christmas," a holiday concert that will be presented Dec. 10 at the Algonquin Arts Theatre, Manasquan. Call Wende Deppeler at (732) 528-5945 to schedule an audition.

Pegasus Production Company of Christian Brothers Academy will hold auditions for the musical "Guys and Dolls" for female high school students, Nov. 28 at 3:30 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. at the Henderson Theatre, 850 Newman Springs Road (Route 520), Lincroft section of Middletown. Brookdale Performing Arts Center will hold auditions for the February production of "A Lesson Before Dying," 7:30-9 p.m. Nov. 16, and 4-7 p.m. Nov. 19. Needed are two white males ages 20-30 and 40-50; three black males ages 18-24, 25-35 and 50-60; two black females ages 20-30 and 50-60; and 10 black children ages 9-14. Details: (732) 224-2411.

Playful Theatre Productions will hold auditions for "Cinderella," 7-10 p.m. Dec. 6-7. Children's ensemble auditions will be held 7-8 p.m. Dec. 7. Auditions will be held at Mercer County Community College, 1200 Old Trenton Road, West Windsor. Auditioners are asked to prepare one entire musical theater song and to bring a copy of the sheet music; an accompanist will be provided. Actors should be prepared for a dance audition.
