Ronald L. Rosetto, president of Rosetto Realty Group and Broker of Record, has negotiated a lease agreement for a Wawa food and gas center along North County Line Road at Cooks Bridge Road in Jackson. All approvals have been granted by the town, and construction is expected to begin within the next four months.

Attorney Lawrence Mandel, Lake-wood, a partner in the law firm of Mandel and Peslak, Freehold, has been reappointed to the New Jersey-Israel Commission by Gov. Jon S. Corzine. Mandel, whose practice focuses on intellectual property law, will serve on the subcommittee on Economic Development and Bilateral Trade. Other subcommittees are education and culture and tourism.

Howell Chamber of Commerce will hold its 27th annual dinner-dance at 6 p.m. Oct. 19 at the Battleground Country Club in Manalapan. The chamber has announced the list of honorees:

Citizen of the Year is Sara Andreyev, second vice president of the chamber, whose family-owned business, Howell General Glazing Contractors, has been in existence at the same location for more than 45 years.

Business of the Year is Center State Mortgage. Since its inception in 1995, Center State Mortgage has become a multimillion-dollar operation employing more than 50 people between its two locations in Freehold and Staten Island, N.Y.

Volunteers of the Year are Warren and Ruth Curry, who have owned Curry Farms in Howell for 25 years, where they train and board horses and run rodeo-related events.

Service Organization of the Year is the Howell Food Pantry, founded in 1985 to assist families from Howell and Farming-dale in need with food.

Suggestions for potential honorees are welcomed by the committee.

Six Flags Great Adventure, Jackson, is hiring more than 4,000 seasonal employees for the 2007 season from high school students to senior citizens. The park offers a wide variety of positions and paid internships to candidates interested in pursuing careers in occupations such as marketing, accounting, criminal justice, theater arts, human resources, hospitality and business management, horticulture and zoology. The park offers team members many benefits including flexible hours, competitive wages, free park admission and more.

The Jackson Chamber of Com-merce's next general membership meeting will be March 21 at Solo Bella Restaurant, 426 Chandler Road, Jackson. The event begins at 7 p.m. and the cost is $25 per person.
