      PLUMSTED - Residents who participate in the school election on April 17 will be very busy in the voting booth. The Board of Education will seek ap-proval of five separate questions as it seeks to fund the operation of the school district for the 2007-08 school year.

Ron Sanasac, who is a former president of the Howell Board of Education, will join the department that is headed by Business Administrator-Board Secre-tary Herbert Massa.

Harriet Tubman's cousin speaks to local students
      ALLENTOWN - Local second-graders learned about Harriet Tubman recently from one of her distant relatives. Sid Taylor, a resident of the New Egypt section of Plumsted, visited the Upper Freehold Regional Elementary School on March 20 to speak to 130 second-graders about the importance of generosity and helping others.
