Jackson budget checks in at $132M for 2007-08

      JACKSON - When Jackson residents go to the polls on April 17 to vote in the annual school election, they will be asked to approve the collection of $65.2 million in local property taxes to help support a total budget of $132.8 million for the 2007-08 school year.

      PLUMSTED - The Plumsted Township School District has announced its Teachers of the Year award winners for each of the four schools: New Egypt High School, New Egypt Middle School, Dr. Gerald H. Pupils show good attitude in collection for soldiers

      HOWELL - Members of the Howell Middle School North Student Council paid tribute to U.S. military forces on March 27 when they delivered 55 boxes of goods to the New Jersey National Guard Armory in Toms River. Students filled the boxes with toiletries and snacks, and wrote thank you letters to U.S. personnel who are serving overseas.
