Fire bureau marks 30 years of dedicated service to Howell
      On Nov. 20, 1975, Howell's five fire districts joined together to discuss the creation of a fire prevention office to promote fire safety education throughout the township and to conduct fire safety inspections in all commercial businesses.

Supporters of Arthritis Foundation did an outstanding job
      I take this opportunity to thank Ocean County Free-holder Gerry Little who chaired the 2007 Arthritis Walk. He is a familiar face to this worthwhile cause and has worked very hard on its behalf. Through his efforts and others from the Arthritis Foundation, it was a huge success as the walk brought out a record number of supporters and raised funding for research and education.
