      Phyllis Bishoff Duggan Remenar

      Mrs. Remenar, 85, of Lakewood, died July 18, 2007, after a lengthy illness. Born in Pueblo, Colo., she had lived in Middletown for approximately 30 years and also spent time at her home in Haines City, Fla. She graduated from Leonardo High School, Middletown, and was a homemaker. She was a lifetime member and active supporter of the Deborah Hospital Foundation, as well as a lifetime member of the Friendly Nighters Women's Club. Mrs. Remenar belonged to a Christian Bible study group and enjoyed dancing and crocheting. She was predeceased by her first husband, Gerald C. Duggan Sr., in 1970. Surviving are her second husband, Joseph Remenar; nine children and their spouses, Frank and Barbara Duggan of Freehold, Sharon and Wilhelm Fischer of Berkeley Heights, Kathleen and Robert Krueger of Fair Haven, Marilyn and Dominic Tarantino of Howell, Gerald and Nancy Duggan of Bayville, Trish and Robert Patten of Middletown, Linda and Ron Hague of Chattanooga, Tenn., Irene and Thomas Cunningham of Old Bridge, and Joseph and Donna Remenar of Lynden, Wash.; four siblings and their spouses, Lois and Raymond Richardson of Whiting, Shirley and George Penfield of Bossier City, La., Frank and Joan Bishoff of Cascade, Va., and Richard and Madeline Bishoff of South Toms River; 20 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. Burial took place at Mount Olivet Cemetery, Middletown, with the John F. Pfleger Funeral Home, Middletown, in charge of arrangements.       Marcos Andreadis

      Mr. Andreadis, 80, of Jackson, died Aug. 7, 2007, at Bartley Healthcare, Jackson. Born in Chios, Greece, he had lived in Wrightstown before moving to Jackson six months ago. Prior to his retirement, Mr. Andreadis was a chef and owner of the Colts Neck Diner. A U.S. Army veteran, he served during the Korean War. He attended St. George Greek Orthodox Church, Asbury Park. Mr. Andreadis is survived by two sons, Constantinos "Gus" Andreadis of Auburn, Ala., and Andrew Andreadis of Bushkill, Pa.; a daughter, Mary Lukowski of Farmingdale; a sister, Vangalia, of Greece; and six grandchildren. A funeral service was held at Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, Freehold Township, followed by interment in Maplewood Cemetery, Freehold.

      Ira James Boyce Jr.

      Mr. Boyce, 59, of Middletown, died Aug. 12, 2007, at home. Born in Long Branch, he was a lifelong resident of Middletown. He was a driver at Tires To Go, Morganville. Prior to that, he was a drywall contractor most of his life, and was employed at Bayshore Com-munity Hospital, Holmdel, and as a driver for the township of Holmdel. He was predeceaesd by his parents, Ira James and Gwendolyn Boyce Sr. He is survived by his wife of 39 years, Kathi L. Immesberger Boyce; two sons and daughters-in-law, Stephen Michael and Ann Marie Boyce of Wilmington, N.C., and Patrick Allan and Diana Boyce of Middle-town; two daughters, Karen Marie Boyce of Perth Amboy, and Connie Ann Boyce of Keansburg; five sisters, Sylvia Soles of Hazlet, Penny Wamsley of Keyport, Gwen-dolyn Flemming of Middletown, Debbie Boyce of Keyport, and Sharon Duff of Howell; a brother, George Boyce of South Toms River; and nine grandchildren. Visitation will be Aug. 15 from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. at John F. Pfleger Funeral Home, Middletown. A memorial service will be Aug. 16 at 2 p.m. at Living Word Christian Church, Atlantic Highlands.
