      JACKSON - Three white adult males from Jackson were arrested and charged with bias intimidation, harassment and criminal mischief stemming from an Aug. 11 incident. Township resident Claire Pavlinec was crowned Mrs. New Jersey 2007 on Aug. 3 in an event held at Rowan University, Glassboro. This week Pavlinec, 37, is at the Loews Ventana Canyon Resort in Tucson, Ariz., competing in the Mrs. America Pageant. More...


      The Central Jersey Blood Center will host a blood drive at the Lakewood Elks Lodge No. 1432, 711 W. Kennedy Blvd., Lakewood, on Aug. 31 from 4-8 p.m. The event is being held on behalf of a young girl from Jackson who was diagnosed with a rare bone marrow disorder and needs blood transfusions every two to three weeks.
