Rotary event proves fun for special needs people
      Contests, prizes, food and fun made for an enjoyable day for all who attended the Jackson Rotary Club's annual picnic and fishing tournament for special needs children and adults. The event, initiated by the late Steven Kitay, was held at the residence of his son, Peter Kitay.

      Eighth-graders from the St. Aloysius School, Jackson, placed third at the 37th annual Christian Brothers Academy eighth grade mathematics contest. The contest, held Oct. 20 at the CBA campus in Lincroft, involved private, parochial and public schools from around the state.

Class plans to reunite
      The Jackson Memorial High School class of 1987 will host its 20-year reunion Nov. 24 from 7 p.m. to midnight at the Ramada Inn, Route 70, Lakewood.
