      Mrs. Murdy, 81, of Howell, died Jan. 19, 2008, at Jersey Shore University Medical Center, Neptune. She was born in Newark and had lived in Hazlet before moving to Howell more than 40 years ago. Mrs. Murdy was an avid photographer who also loved gardening. She was predeceased by her husband, John G., on Jan. 3, as well as a daughter, Sheila Cornelius, in 1990.

She was born in theAdelphia section of Howell and had lived in Englishtown before moving to Jackson 25 years ago.
