Jaguars win for 11th straight year

      The Jackson High School wrestling program didn't let setbacks suffered in the Shore Conference Tournament and NJSIAA Group IV championship let it affect its chances of capturing a district crown. The Jaguars showed resiliency in easily outdistancing Howell to win its 11th consecutive District 21 championship last weekend at Manalapan High School.

New Egypt wrestlers place second in District 25

      Mike Schwarze was only half informed of the enormity of his 135- pound District 25 championship match. While Schwarze mentally prepared to face his opponent in the finals, the New Egypt High School junior wrestler had no idea of the impact his bout would have on the final team scoring. The Warriors needed a win from him in order to lay claim to second place in the event.
