Estitta Bushkin, Howell's qualified purchasing agent, was recently sworn as the 2008 president of the Governmental Purchasing Association of New Jersey. Bushkin has been employed by Howell since 1995 and served in the purchasing department since 2000. TownshipManager Helene Schlegel said, "The township is extremely proud that one of our employees is held in such esteem within their profession. One of the township's goals is to promote and develop a first-rate workforce. Obviously, as seen by Estitta's accomplishments, she exemplifies the commitment and dedication to her profession that Howell looks for in its employees." A qualified purchasing agent is the individual who has the authority, responsibility and accountability for the purchasing activity of the municipality.
