      Free tax assistance will be provided by AARP representatives at the Jackson library, 2 Jackson Drive, Jackson, on Tuesdays from 9 a.m. to noon now through April 15. There is no age requirement and there are no appointments.

      Free tax help will be available at the Plumsted library, Evergreen Road, Plumsted, March 28, April 4 and 11, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tax help for low- to middleincome seniors will be offered by AARP following IRS guidelines.       • The Jackson Educational Foundation will present its second annual fashion show and luncheon on March 29 from 11:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at LaBove' Grande Circle Landmark, Route 70, Lakehurst.       Junior Ceramics, a program for Jackson children ages 8-12, will be offered by the Jackson Department of Recreation and Senior Services, March 29 from 10- 11:30 a.m. at the Jackson public works building on Don Connor Boulevard.       "Overview of Autism" will be presented by Dr. Yvette M. Janvier at 7 p.m. April 5 at the Jackson library, 2 Jackson Drive, Jackson. It will offer participants an overview, tips on how to interact with individuals with autism, how families can better manage the stresses of caring for children with autism and much more.       Author, John Morano will discuss tips from his book, "Don't TellMe the Ending!" at the Jackson library, 2 Jackson Drive, Jackson, at 7 p.m.April 10.Morano is a professor of journalism at Monmouth University and the former editor of Modern Screen Magazine, ROCKbeat Magazine and Inside Books Magazine.       Donations of hair for Locks of Love, a nonprofit organization that helps children with medical hair loss feel better about themselves, will be accepted April 12, noon to 5 p.m., at TheWhite Butterfly, 200 North County Line Road, Jackson.
