Breast Cancer Awareness Day planned
      LAKEWOOD - The Lakewood Blue- Claws have teamed up with Susan G. Komen for the Cure Central and South Jersey to host Breast Cancer Awareness Day, presented by Molly Maid, May 18 at FirstEnergy Park, 2 Stadium Way. The event will not only benefit Susan G. Komen for the Cure, but it will also provide valuable information for women of all ages.

Golf lessons offered at Ocean County Park
      The Ocean County Department of Parks and Recreation will conduct golf lessons for persons age 16 and older from 8 to 9 a.m. May 3-24 at the golf driving range in Ocean County Park, Lakewood. Attendees should bring a five, seven and nine iron to the first class. Classroom discussion will be held on rain days in the Beach Complex building.
