            Mrs. Smith, 72, of Aberdeen, died May 21, 2008, at RobertWood Johnson UniversityMedical Center, New Brunswick. Born in Keyport, she was a lifelong resident of Aberdeen. She was a teacher's aide at Temple Beth Ahm, Aberdeen, for 20 years, retiring 13 years ago. She was predeceased by a brother, Joseph Truair.

            Miss Sodano, 92, of Holmdel, died May 21, 2008, atWillows Assisted Living, Holmdel. She resided in Jackson prior to relocating to Holmdel. She was a retired financial supervisor at Lucent Technologies, Kearney. She was predeceased by three sisters, Rose Sodano, Jean Hobbs and Josephine Sodano.

            Mrs. Sykulski, 94, of Spotswood, formerly of South River, diedMay 14, 2008, in Raritan Bay Medical Center, Old Bridge division. Her husband, John, died in 1981, and an infant daughter, Lorraine, died in 1936. Surviving are a son, Jack Sykulski Jr.

            Mrs. Mandelbaum, 79, a resident of Lakewood for the past 11 years, died May 19, 2008, at the Ocean Medical Center, Brick. She was an executive secretary for Prudential Insurance Co., Newark, before joining Sears, Roebuck & Co. for 15 years, retiring in 1982. Mrs. Mandelbaum was predeceased by her husband, Leonard, in March 2008, and a brother, Ronald Rubin, in 1979.
