      St. Al's pupils take pride in strides for good causes
            Whether they are running, somersaulting, skipping or walking, the youngsters at the St. Aloysius School, Jackson, are bringing in the bucks to help a childhood cancer charity, Ocean of Love.       Lakewood schools will provide summer meals
            The Lakewood Board of Education will be participating in the 2008 Summer Food Service program, beginning June 30. The Summer Food Service program is a federal program of the Food and Nutrition Services, U.S. Department of Agriculture.

            Goetz Middle School students (l-r) Lindsey Cassella, Kayla Bronznya and Ben Meyer were named semifinalists (one of the top 30 ideas in the United States) in the Christopher Columbus Awards, a program that gives middle school pupils the opportunity for positive change in their community.
