Infernos to perform at Concert Under the Stars
      The Infernos will perform at 7:30 p.m. Aug. 6 at John F. Johnson Memorial Park, Kierych Drive, Jackson. The Infernos perform all genres of music, including big band, oldies, '50s and '60s, Motown and today's top hits. Johnson Park will open at 6 p.m. with food vendors on site. A dance floor, parking and facilities for the handicapped will be provided.

Monmouth Park Charity Ball slated for Aug. 9
      The annual Monmouth Park Charity Ball will be held beginning at 7 p.m. Aug. 9 at Deal Golf and Country Club. Honorees will be Richard W. Hogan, Kenneth Rocky and Chris Ruisi for outstanding commitment to the community. The event will feature a cocktail hour, dinner and dancing to the music by the Stephen Berger Orchestra.
