      I am the president of the Battlefield Restoration and Archaeological Volunteer Organization (BRAVO) and the volunteer archaeologist at Monmouth Battlefield State Park, Manalapan. I have written to Monmouth County Administrator Robert M. Czech on behalf of the members of BRAVO who have been excavating the battlefield for the past 21 years.

      I have come up with a new blessing: For every bad person you encounter, I wish you 15 good ones. This is what happened to me recently. I was coming out of the New Egypt IGA (it will always be called that in my house) with some ice cream and lottery tickets (my husband had a rough day at work again).

Volunteers from fire company were quick to help out
      I want to take this opportunity to thank the Jackson Mills Fire Department and any other fire company which has been supplying water to our homes in Fountainhead Park. Our system went down on July 15 due to a broken pump.
