The volunteer New Jersey chapter of Canine Companions for Independence (CCI) will host An Afternoon of Wine and Noses 2-5 p.m. Oct. 26, at Basking Ridge Country Club, 185 Madisonville Road, Basking Ridge. Proceeds from the afternoon of wine and chocolate tasting will benefit CCI, a national nonprofit organization that places assistance dogs with children and adults with disabilities other than blindness.

Those who attend will have the opportunity to meet volunteer puppy raisers, CCI puppies and CCI graduate teams.
