Boy Scouts seek crafters and vendors
      The Boy Scouts of America Venture Crew 400 of Jackson needs crafters and vendors for its 2008 craft/vendor fair. Jackson Venture Crew 400 is the only Venture Crew in New Jersey that is fully comprised of special-needs individuals. Venture Crews are Boy Scout-oriented groups consisting of boys and girls age 14 and older. The craft/vendor fair will be held from 9 a.m.

Used book sale set
      A used book sale will be held 2-7 p.m. Nov. 7 and 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Nov. 8 at New Egypt High School, 117 Evergreen Road, Plumsted. Books for all ages, jigsaw puzzles, CDs, DVDs and videos will be available. Proceeds will benefit the Friends of the Plumsted Library. A special "Kid's Time Only" session will be held 5-7 p.m. Nov. 6. Adults must be accompanied by a child.
