      Running back goes for 306 yards, three scores
            An outstanding effort from senior running back Langston Lacroix and a poised final drive in overtime combined for the expected result last Friday night as the New Egypt High School football team posted a thrilling 30-24 victory over visiting Woodrow Wilson of Camden.

            I t's the time of the year in the Garden State when hunters and anglers get that little extra feeling of anxiety — the lack of sleep the night before an offshore trip. Dreaming of that big eye on the troll, the sword on the chunk or the 40- pound striped bass from the surf. These are just a few of the big-game fish we dream about.

            Trailing 3-0 in the second half, Monmouth University senior Joanna DeMoor netted two scores to pull the Hawks within a lone goal, but eventually fell 3-2 at Central Connecticut State in Northeast Conference women's soccer action. Monmouth, which was on a nine-game unbeaten streak, falls to 10-2-1 on the season and 3-1 in league play.
