Councilman's performance is worthy of an acting award
Jackson Councilman Mike Kafton deserves only one thing, and that is an Oscar for his performances at all the meetings. He is continually posturing.
It is well known that he wants to be the next mayor. He wanted this new form of government and he succeeded in that, but shall not get everything he wants. Silly season is something of the past — it is now year-round.
Mr. Kafton fooled me long enough. I always did believe he had the best interest in this town, but he has shown his true colors. It is not the town he thinks about, it is only Mike Kafton.
There is one councilman on the board who does show he is truly concerned about the future of Jackson. If you want to see for yourself, attend the public council meetings and also see a performance starring Mike Kafton.
These meetings are held every second and fourth Tuesday of the month at 7:30 p.m. at the municipal building on Don Connor Boulevard. If one of the readers of this article is a Broadway producer and is looking for an actor, you shall find an excellent one in Mike Kafton for your production.
