Lakewood Community School, in cooperation with the American Drivers Safety Council, will sponsor a Defensive Driving-2 Point Reduction class on Oct. 26 or Nov. 9. The class will be held at the Best Western Hotel, 1600 Route 70, Lakewood, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.; the fee is $40. Attending the six-hour course can save students 5 percent on their auto insurance policy for three years and/or remove two points from their driving record.
