Ihad the opportunity to meet Tracey Murnane the other day. Tracey is running for a seat on the Board of Education in Jackson. We spoke for a while and I am supporting Tracey and her running mates, Matthew Genovese and John Morvay.

Tracey and Matt have never held political office before. John Morvay is running again for election.

I am upset that Marvin Krakower and Marty Spielman voted this past year to give the superintendent of schools a 10 percent pay raise. This is over a $15,000 raise for a man who makes almost $200,000. This is a horrible thing to do to taxpayers who are losing their jobs and homes. The money should go to the kids, not the bureaucrats.

John Morvay was the only person who voted no.

John Morvay, Tracey Murnane and Matthew Genovese have my vote. I hope next time there is this vote before these school politicians, I know Tracey and Matt will vote no along with Mr. Morvay.
