      Howell basketball making progress
            One of the nicest stories to come out of the 2008-09 boys basketball season has been the sudden rise of Brian Quick's Howell High School Rebels. With back-to-back wins on Friday and Saturday over Colts Neck (53-45) and Keansburg (61-31), Howell is 9-9 and enters play this week with the opportunity to make the state playoffs.
