      Forum will address Jackson revaluation
            Jackson Mayor Michael Reina will host a special weekend forum to address any concerns Jackson Township residents might have about the recently completed revaluation of properties in town. Interested residents can attend the meeting from 10 a.m. to noon Feb. 28 at the Jackson Township Municipal Building, 95 West Veterans Highway.

      Georgian Court to show 'The Sting'
            Georgian Court University will celebrate its centennial year with Centennial Film Classics, a Monday night film series featuring movies from each of the eight decades the university has resided in Lakewood. "The Sting" (1973) will be shown on March 9 at 6:30 p.m. in the Little Theatre on GCU's campus, 900 Lakewood Ave., Lakewood.

      Résumé-writing class offered in Lakewood
            The Lakewood Community School has scheduled a one-night résumé-writing seminar 7-9 p.m. March 23 at Lakewood High School, 855 Somerset Ave., Lakewood. The class fee is $25. Résumé formatting, design and content, how to compose a cover letter, mistakes to avoid, and how to be prepared for the interview will be covered in the class.

      Vendor spaces open for SPARK craft fair
            PLUMSTED — SPARK of Plumsted, a parent advisory group for parents of students with special needs, will host a spring craft fair at the Dr. Gerald Woehr Elementary School, 44 North Main St., New Egypt, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. March 21. The event will feature crafters and a yard sale. Vendor spaces start at $15 (vendors must bring their own table).

      Naomi Tutu will speak at Georgian Ct.
            Georgian Court University (GCU) will celebrate Women's History Month on March 10 with headline speaker Naomi Tutu, human rights activist and daughter of Archbishop Desmond and Nomalizo Leah Tutu. The lecture will take place at 6:30 p.m. in the Casino on the Lakewood campus, 900 Lakewood Road.

      Jackson residents sought for talent show
            The Optimist Club of Jackson will hold its second annual "Jackson's Got Talent" talent show 1-5 p.m. April 19 at the Jackson Memorial High School Fine Arts Center, 101 Don Connor Blvd., Jackson. The competition is open to Jackson residents between the ages of 8 and 18. Food and refreshments will be available at the show. Tickets are $7 for adults and $3 for children.

      Jackson Liberty band to play at jazz festival
            The Jackson Liberty High School Jazz Band will compete at the Steinert Jazz Festival on March 14 at Steinert High School, 2900 Klockner Road, Hamilton. Jazz enthusiasts are welcome to attend the event, which will begin at 4 p.m., and support the students participating.
