Dedication of new church was an uplifting experience
For many people in Jackson and in my Cornerstone Presbyterian Church, I would like to express our thanks for two significant experiences.
First, the dedication service for the new sanctuary at St. Aloysius Catholic Church was a very impressive and meaningful service. Father Scott and the leaders of the church have built a very beautiful "tabernacle."
It was an honor to include people and leaders of all faiths for this uplifting event.
And second, the people and owners of Cafe West are to be commended for their community spirit and service. They opened their doors even after hours for youth activities, Bible studies, coffee house music and good fellowship.
It is too bad that Jackson has lost this restaurant. Many people appreciated the open and warm hospitality of Cafe West. It will be missed.
