Jam Fest in Jackson will help charities
      Jam Fest 3 will be hosted by the Central Jersey Italian-American Club, 36 Cpl. Luigi Marciante Jr. Memorial Drive, Jackson, June 20 at noon. The event will feature 27 bands. Proceeds will benefit the Glen Fredricks Fund to support a local resident who has brain cancer. It will also benefit the New Jersey Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals.

      LAKEWOOD — The Lakewood Community School has scheduled a trip to the Grounds for Sculpture in Hamilton Township followed by a visit to the Princeton University Art Museum on June 20. The $29 fee includes bus transportation, driver gratuity and admission to the art museum.

Seats available for Cape May bus trip
      Tickets are still available for a bus trip June 13 to Victorian Cape May for a craft show on the boardwalk and free time for shopping, dining, touring, trolley-riding or just enjoying the waterfront. Sponsored by the Lakewood Community School, the bus will depart from the Lakewood Municipal Building at 8:30 a.m. and is expected to return at 6:30 p.m.

      JACKSON — The Jackson Department of Recreation and Senior Services is offering discount tickets to the June 19 performance of "Hair" on Broadway at the Al Hirschfeld Theater in New York City. The price is $120 per ticket and includes charter bus transportation and orchestra seats for the 8 p.m. show.
