Eagle Ridge Golf Club, Lakewood, will celebrate its 10th anniversary on June 26 with special member and public playing opportunities and special pricing rolling back to 1999. Fees will start at $59 for 9 holes and $99 for 18 holes. The special anniversary fees include greens fee, cart, barbecue lunch, entertainment, prizes, contests, tee gift, range balls, lessons and clinics. The whole family is welcome to attend the free open house festivities. A barbecue lunch will also be available for children and families on the Sunset Terrace at a special rate. Eagle Ridge has seen much change over 10 years, including the addition of a new 25,000-square-foot clubhouse and the Grand View Ballroom, which accommodates up to 300 guests for weddings, social occasions and corporate meetings. The course was expanded to form one of the few semi-private 27-hole golf courses in New Jersey.

The club also offers a golf shop, locker room facilities for men and women, and a golf academy for all ages and skill levels.

Bartley Healthcare, 175 Bartley Road, Jackson, and The Orchards at Bartley, 100 County Line Road, Jackson, will be dropoff sites for a statewide food drive from June 1-30. All of the food collected will benefit the agencies of the Community FoodBank of New Jersey.

Items requested are shelf-stable products that are not expired, canned fish and meet, powdered milk and infant formulas, boxed meals like pasta, potatoes and rise, canned meals like macaroni and cheese, chili, stews, and meaty soups, peanut butter in plastic jars, canned fruits and vegetables. No glass or cellophane can be accepted. Items can be dropped in the box in the lobby of Bartley Healthcare, 175 Bartley Road, Jackson, or The Orchards at Bartley, 100 County Line Road, Jackson, before June 30.

Calgo Gardens, 84 Cross Street, Lakewood, will sponsor a weekly farmer's market from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. every Friday from June 12 through Sept. 30. The market will include fresh vegetables and fruit straight from local farms, along with homemade peanut butter, breads, pasta, jellies and jams, honey, and a variety of teas made by a local herbalist, among many other items.
