Jackson tea party set for July 4
      JACKSON — All citizens are being invited to John F. Johnson Jr. Memorial Park in Jackson for a July 4 "Don't Tread on Me" tea party. According to a press release from the Jackson Tea Party, the rally will take place at the park on Kierych Memorial Drive from noon to 3 p.m.

Host families needed for exchange students
      Host families are urgently needed in the Jackson, Brick Township and surrounding areas for 15 exchange students from Spain. The students will be arriving on July 2 and staying for four weeks until July 29. They will go to classes three days a week and on day trips two days a week.

SummerzCool Camp offered by county
      The Ocean County Department of Parks and Recreation will conduct a new Summerz- Cool Camp for children ages 8-12 at Ocean County Park, Lakewood, on July 20, 21 and 22 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The rain date is July 23. The camp will feature "cool" sporting events such as ultimate Frisbee, flag football, golf, dodgeball and Wiffle ball. The cost to attend the camp is $35.
