The Jackson Track Club will hold its second annual track and field summer camp from June 29 to Aug. 27. The camp will be held every Monday and Thursday at Jackson Liberty High School from 6-7:30 p.m. This includes a total of 18 sessions and participants are not required to attend all of the sessions. Boys and girls from beginner to novice, from junior varsity to varsity, ages 10 to 18 are invited to attend. The camp will be coached by high school track and field coaches. The cost is $50 and includes a Tshirt. The younger participants will learn the basics of track and field, while the older athletes will have an opportunity to continue their training and improve their speed, agility and technique. A beginner soccer "Kick It!" program for children ages 4-8 will be conducted by Ocean County Parks and Recreation. The fee is $13 per child, and players must bring their own ball. The program will be offered 9:30-10:30 a.m., Wednesdays, July 1-15, at Lake Shenandoah sports field, Lakewood (program no. 223312-3B); and 9:30-10:30 a.m. Tuesdays, July 28 through Aug. 11, at Patriots Park, Jackson (program no. 223312-3C). 3-2 Count Athletic Training Facility will present "Summer Rumble" on July 11 at 8 p.m. The event will feature one match between 20 wrestlers, several of them former WWE stars, for the ISPW World Heavyweight Championship. Nunzio, Judas Young, Crowbar, Rich Fuller, Julio Dinero, Chase Del Monte, H.C. Loc, Flash, Rob Eckos, Saint Stronko and the Logan Brothers are among the wrestlers scheduled to take part in the match.
